Business Challenge: Sara Lee Corporation is a marketer
of over 100 leading consumer brands including Hillshire Farms,
BallPark, Sara Lee, Douwe Egberts,
Sanex, L'eggs, Hanes, and Coach. In
1998, Sara Lee redesigned their Web site to extend their
identity and branding focus to online audiences of investors,
analysts, media and consumers. Since that time, Sara Lee
has challenged Ajenda to innovate and implement future releases
of the site. They needed a partner who could assist with a range
of time-sensitive creative strategy and production projects.
Solution: We have successfully delivered a series of projects
including a New Vision sub-site, online financial reports, a Coach
sub-site, new shareholders services tools, and earnings releases.
We also assisted with the migration of their site to a new server
environment and the development of an upgraded news release publishing
tool and search engine. Throughout these projects, we have successfully
integrated online and offline identities, enabling a consistent
brand and user experience.
Impact: Ajenda continues to work with Sara Lee to enhance
and maintain Saralee.com. Recent updates include the addition
of a Flash version of their 2002 annual report, brand slideshows
and current commercials. The site has been designated a Dow Jones
Select Site and was an interactive finalist at South by Southwest
Festival.
