| Business Challenge:
SBC Ameritech Customer Service Bureau is running an internal campaign
to generate sales during repair calls. Based on a NASCAR theme,
Rev'N Up Revenue creates a competition between their five customer
service centers. Ameritech wanted a Web site to give a visual
component to this competition. The site illustrates the race in
progress, provides updates on individual team members and highlights
the incentives program. Simply, it generates enthusiasm for the
program.
Solution: Each center was able to design a car by selecting
from a variety of body types, colors and detailing. Ajenda created
a site using floating layers and javascript to position cars.
The position on the screen was based on the number of sales in
each center, which was implanted in the script. By changing the
variable in the script, the car's position on the racetrack is
adjusted as is the text showing the rank. Subpages revealed the
specifics about each center's progress.
Impact: Ajenda continues to partner with Ameritech, developing
tools and strategies to improve training systems and expand customer
service.
